Amina and Joey's puppies were born on Friday, June 18. All the puppies in her litter are white. Her first born is a 4 ounce girl born at 9 am, next came a 5 ounce boy at 1:10 pm. Third born is a 5 3/4 ounce girl at 1:55 pm. A 5 1/4 ounce boy joined his siblings at 2:05 pm and then a 5 1/4 ounce girl was last to be born at 2:15 pm. Amina is very devoted to her first litter of puppies.

3. OFA Thyroid - Joey is normal, Amina is normal on blood work
4. OFA Cardiac
5. OFA Patellar Luxation
6. CMR2, Amina - Carrier, Joey is clear/normal, his parents are normal

Joey's parents are clear/normal for CMR2 and also for vWD Type 1 so Joey is clear/normal for these diseases. Clear/Normal puppies will never be carriers or affected with the disease. Amina's parents are clear/normal for vWD. Amina is a carrier for CMR2. Carriers do not have the disease but they do carry the gene for the disease. If mated to a clear/normal mate they will only produce normal or carrier puppies. They will not have affected puppies.
Amina is two years of age and she weighs 10 1/2 pounds. Joey will be three years of age on July 23, 2010. Joey weighs thirteen pounds.
History of Amina- Amina was born at TiaCotons. She is the daughter of Kevin Cattledrivers Castle and Black Angel Graciela of Woodland Cottage. Kevin was born in the Netherlands at Cattledrivers Castle. Kevin's breeder is Wilma Vershut Poot. His Sire is Cartoonland's Tzigane and his Dam is Azmirs Jewel from Azmirs. My friend Karen Black from Cotonwind Cotons showed Kevin to his USA and Canadian Championships in the show ring in 2008. Kevin lived at Karen's home for about ten months. He sired a few litters with some of Karen's female Cotons. Chante's breeder is Micky Ceriez. Chante came to our home all the way from Spain. Micky brought Chante to our home. Chante's Sire is Casanova Snowy Little Bear of Woodland Cottage (Bambino). Chante's Dam is Sparkling White Snow of Woodland Cottage (Yasmina). Chante is the only girl and breedable Coton from the mating of Bambino and Yasmina. Yasmina was retired from breeding after Chante's litter was born.
History of Joey - Joey's breeder is Karen Black, Cotonwind Cotons. Joey's Sire, Jeffrey, Jespersen's Prince of Denmark, is from Brigitte Jespersen's kennel in Denmark. Joey's pedigree lines on his Sire's side include Cotons from Swift Cotons and Klusmatt pedigree lines. Joey's Dam, Icy, Cotonnerie Icy at Cotonwind, is from Sara France Saint-Pierre's pedigree lines, Cotonnerie Cotons in Quebec, Canada. Icy's pedigree lines include Cotons from Chaumiere du Lac and De l'Echo des Elingues. Joey has a wonderful personality and we are happy to have him in our breeding program. He has sired wonderful puppies with our girls. It is easy to fall in love with Joey and he gives back twice as much love as we give to him.
Our puppies are sold with a comprehensive contract. The puppies have their first vaccination and health exam before they leave for their homes.
What Goes Home With Your Puppy? The supplies that we send home with our puppies are: blanket, harness and leash, sample bag of dry dog food, chew toy, toy with litter smells. In the file folder we send home with our puppies you will find: the contract, veterinarian health report card on the puppy, information and copies of the health tests results on the parents, a booklet of information on the care of our puppies and Coton club information.
