My Coton de Tuléar dogs are bred with the goal of creating the highest quality possible. I carefully choose the Sire and Dam for my litters. My Cotons complement each other and I hope for wonderful puppies from them that will be an asset to the breed. ACC breeders strive for a superior standard of excellence.

TiaCotons does not breed to "supply the market". I am selective in my breeding program and I am careful in the placement of my Coton de Tuléar puppies. Please feel free to contact me if you feel my commitment to the Coton de Tuléar breed is what you are looking for. My Cotons live in my home with me. I only breed Coton de Tuléar dogs.

All TiaCotons puppies are sold with a written contract and a health check. I guarantee that my parent Cotons are healthy and have excellent dispositions to pass on to their offspring.

All of my puppies have enjoyed the same care, love, and attention. My pet/companion puppies have no breeding right, the spay/neuter clause in the contract must be fulfilled within the allotted time discussed with the breeder.

TiaCotons dogs are registered with the American Coton Club because I believe in the principles of the club and TiaCotons pedigrees are issued from this club. Responsible Code of Ethic breeders who belong to the reputable Coton de Tuléar breed clubs set high standards to preserve, honor and protect the Coton de Tuléar breed from exploitation and careless breeding practices. Code of Ethic breeders have an obligation to protect the health and welfare of the Coton de Tuléar breed.  COE breeders stay informed of all health and genetic issues related to the Coton de Tuléar breed. COE breeders only breed together Coton de Tuléar dogs.  My Cotons will never be bred to mixed breed dogs or other pure bred breeds of dog. COE breeders will never place or sell a Coton for resale to a pet store, dealer, wholesaler, broker or backyard breeder. Responsible Coton breeders will take back a Coton that an owner cannot keep, no matter what the reason.

Some people decide to bargain shop for a Coton. There are breeders who do not belong to a Coton breed club who will cut prices and who will sell you an inferior Coton. How will you know you have a purebred Coton with a pedigree that will be accepted by one of the Coton club registries from these breeders? The breeders of some of these dogs give owners fake pedigrees on their dogs. Many of the non Coton club breeders have little understanding of Coton pedigrees, they have no idea where the dogs in the ancestry of the pedigree of their Cotons came from and they have no knowledge about the health history of the pedigree lines they are breeding. Warning from the Humane Society of the United States about Purebred Breeders LLC. Buyer Beware!

The following article has had a big impact on my own breeding program. I hope this article will help you understand the life of a "Responsible Breeder" versus the life of a "Puppy-Raiser". What is a Breeder? Also, good information from the Humane Society on - How to Find a Good Dog Breeder
